How To Prepare For An Inertia Day
Inertia assessment centres differ from client to client. Nearer the time of any assessment centre one of our Recruitment Directors will speak to you to let you know the running order and how long you can expect to be at the session.
The day will involve role plays. Dreaded by some and adored by others, role plays can be quite daunting; however, if you are looking at a role that is customer facing then role plays should not be feared they should be expected.
The Inertia session is designed with you in mind and our recruitment team will be on hand to help you prepare for the day. That does not mean we will inform you what our client is looking for!
Our advice before any Inertia session is simple:
= Dress for the job you want, not the job you have
= don't make the night before an assessment a late one, that way you should be firing on all cylinders and come prepared
= do some ground work on the role you are applying for, the client and the brand
On the day most sessions have elements that are pass or fail. If you do fail an element of the assessment we will let you know what part you failed and why, this way you will also learn from any session you attend.
